Hundreds Brave Amber weather warning of severe snow for Formby Nativity

Hundreds of people turned out to enjoy the village Nativity in Formby despite the MET office warning of snow. The production which is now in its twelth year has been popular year on year. Choirs from local primary schools gave a great performance bringing the story of Christmas alive in the village. Organiser Dympna Edwards said  “ Formby was threatened with a downpour of snow but our cast carried on like real professionals! I was so proud of everyone involved. It is a really community effort thanks to the effort of those who worked behind the scenes and our volunteer stewards.”

Many people from across the Formby Community worked over many months to make this event happen. Churches Together would like to thank everyone who contributed in any way through funding, time or skills in bringing this free event to the Formby community.
